The family bank that pays interest.
Bankids is a pocket-money account you run for your kids. You handle the deposits and withdrawals. Bankids handles the rules — a bonus on what goes in, a fee on what comes out, and interest on whatever they leave alone.

Three dials, and they apply to every child in the family. Turn any of them off and Bankids is a plain ledger instead.
Deposit bonus
Added on top whenever you put money in. Saving becomes worth more than being paid.
Withdrawal fee
Taken from the balance whenever money comes out. Spending has a small, visible cost.
Savings interest
Paid on whatever is left, weekly, biweekly, or monthly. It arrives without anyone asking.
Kids get in without an email address.
A child does not need an inbox, a phone number, or an account you have to manage. You add them by name, and they sign in by scanning a code you show them from your own screen. The code works for a few minutes and then it is dead.
If a phone goes missing, one tap signs that child out of every device and the old code stops working.
You decide what the family can see.
- Whether children can see each other’s savings.
- Whether they can open a brother or sister and read the whole history.
- Whether they can choose their own picture.
- Your own money never appears on a child’s side of the app.

Bankids is an independent project in active development. No cost, and no ads.
The email we send
Only messages you asked for, and only about your own account. There is no newsletter, no marketing, and no mailing list.
Confirming your address
A six-digit code when you sign up, or whenever you ask us to send a new one.
Resetting a password
A code sent only when you start a reset yourself from the sign-in screen.
Joining a family
An invitation with a first-time password, sent when a parent adds someone by email.
